What is this?

Sasca follows a few large open-source repositories and, for every new commit, records which functions, methods and classes changed, rather than which lines. A busy file can change in many places at once; Sasca tells you that render_collection changed, and takes you straight to it in the file's diff.

Reading a change

Each change names its symbol by the modules and classes around it, ending with the symbol itself in bold. Colours tell the kinds apart:

• Module
• Class
• Method
• Function

The badge in front says what happened to it:

• A added
• M modified
• R removed

Changes are grouped by the range of commits they were found in, with a link to compare them on GitHub or GitLab. Open a change to see its diff: unchanged code is folded away, and the symbol's first line is marked in the gutter.
